Bespoke Process
Working closely with my clients is an integral part of commissioning a piece of furniture, especially in the early design phase. This is to ensure the outcome fits the client’s needs, desires and budget and allows them to experience the overall process from start to finish.
Every commission starts with basic conceptual drawings which are free of charge. This is to establish the overall look and direction of the piece, before more detailed drawings and or models can be completed. A fee will be required for the design of every commission. This fee will vary depending on the extent and nature of the piece and will be discussed at the first meeting.
When a design has been agreed upon and all materials and details have been selected, a quote will be presented to the client. If accepted, depending on the size and nature of the project, a deposit of 50% will be required before commencement of work. The remaining fee will be due in full on completion of the work and before the delivery of the piece.
Throughout the making process, regular updates and photos will be sent to the clients. For pieces such as stools, chairs and other items of that nature site visits are
encouraged to ensure maximum personalisation for my clients.
We are happy to deliver completed work within 50km of Treviso. Alternatively, we can arrange postage or shipping. This cost will be in addition to the initial quotation. Depending on the size and nature of the piece, I can organise custom crates to protect the item from damage during transport, this service will also be at an additional cost.
