I am an Australian designer and furniture maker from the Wimmera region in country Victoria. I grew up surrounded by dry bush and an ancient mountain Range that the Indigenous peoples of the Djab Wurrung and Jardwardjali tribes call Gariwerd. It has always been important for me to have a connection to where I live and draw inspiration from the natural environment and time.
It was during my very early teens when I first started developing an interest in art, entering my first art exhibition when I was 11 years old. All through my school years I exhibited and sold work, however, working with timber was always alluring and after completing school I have spent my whole working life following this pursuit.
It has been a natural progression for me to come back to art through working with wood and I enjoy the challenges of trying to combine these two passions.

I embrace the use of both traditional and modern techniques and the exploration of contemporary ideas and materials to constantly grow and push my work in new directions.
I believe in the ideology of embodied energy that exists within objects that can be obtained through time, passing into said object. This can be achieved through considered design, technique and execution, leading away from the consumerist approach and towards an outcome of value and environmental consideration.
My work consists of both Bespoke and ready to order products from my own designs. These works could include residential furniture such as tables, low tables, chairs, bed settings, side cabinets, sculptural pieces, objects and sculpture, and commercial projects, such as boardroom tables, sculpture and installation pieces.
